As part of the Empowering Education: Re-Building the Bridges in the Western Balkan Region (RBWB) project, a meeting was held between representatives of the International Relations Offices (IRO) of the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature (FCJK) and the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr Milan Marković, Vice-Dean for International Cooperation at FCJK, Ivana Rondović, Head of the International Relations Office at FCJK, and Umihana Salčin and Muamer Hirkić, representatives of the IRO Office of the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo.

Representatives of both institutions presented the work carried out so far within the RBWB project, including the activities implemented and the tasks planned for the upcoming period. Particular attention was given to the role of IRO offices in project implementation, their involvement in coordinating international activities, and their support for student and staff mobility.

The colleagues from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo, also prepared a presentation on the work of their IRO Office, outlining its organisational structure, scope of responsibilities, procedures, and experience in supporting international cooperation. The presentation provided a basis for discussing practical approaches to organising the work of international relations offices, exchanging experiences, and identifying practices that could be applied across partner institutions.

The meeting forms part of the project’s activities aimed at strengthening the capacities of international relations offices at partner institutions, improving their organisational structures, and enhancing their ability to support international projects, academic mobility, and the development of institutional partnerships.
