International Relations Office (IRO)

The International Relations Office (IRO) is the central institutional unit of the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of international cooperation.

In line with the Faculty’s strategic priorities, the IRO supports internationalisation by strengthening institutional capacities, fostering sustainable partnerships, and ensuring active participation in international programmes and projects.

Key functions
  • development and implementation of internationalisation strategies
  • coordination of international projects (Erasmus+, CEEPUS, bilateral and other programmes)
  • support for student and staff mobility
  • establishment and management of international partnerships and agreements
  • institutional support in project preparation and implementation
  • promotion of Montenegrin language, literature, and culture in the international academic environment

Role and activities

The IRO acts as the central contact point for international cooperation, providing administrative, professional, and operational support across the Faculty.

It contributes to the integration of the Faculty into the European Higher Education and Research Area through participation in EU programmes and other international initiatives.
