Project Overview
RBWB is a Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The project is implemented by an international consortium of higher education institutions and partners with the aim of strengthening institutional capacities, enhancing academic quality, and fostering sustainable international cooperation.
The project focuses on improving governance structures, developing academic programmes, strengthening quality assurance mechanisms, and enhancing digital and organisational capacities within participating institutions.
Objectives
The project pursues the following specific objectives:
- Strengthen institutional capacities for international cooperation and sustainable governance
- Establish and operationalise an International Relations Office (IRO)
- Enhance internal quality assurance mechanisms in line with European standards
- Develop and implement a joint MA study programme aligned with national and European higher education frameworks
- Create and implement a digital platform supporting academic collaboration and capacity building
- Promote dissemination, knowledge exchange, and regional cooperation
All activities are implemented in accordance with the approved project proposal and Erasmus+ CBHE programme guidelines.
Key Components
The project is structured into several Work Packages (WPs):
- WP1 – Project Management and Coordination
Ensures effective coordination, financial management, reporting, monitoring, and risk management. - WP2 – Institutional Capacity and Internationalisation
Establishment and operationalisation of the International Relations Office (IRO) and strengthening international cooperation structures. - WP3 – Quality Assurance and Evaluation
Alignment of institutional quality assurance systems with European standards and implementation of internal and external evaluation mechanisms. - WP4 – Development of the MA Programme
Design and development of a new MA study programme in line with national legislation and European Higher Education Area principles. - WP5 – Digital Platform and Online Support Tools
Development of an online platform supporting learning resources, collaboration, and digital engagement. - WP6 – Training, Conferences and Capacity Building
Organisation of training activities, multiplier events, and an international conference. - WP7 – Dissemination and Sustainability
Ensures visibility, stakeholder engagement, and long-term sustainability of project results.

The project will deliver:
